#GivingGoodsDay

Tuesday, Nov. 27 is #GivingTuesday, a global day of giving celebrated throughout the world. For the second year in a row, Goodwill Detroit will be coordinating the community-wide service project, #GivingGoodsDay.
Goodwill will be handing out care packages for families throughout Metro Detroit. The event will be held in Eastern Market on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at Shed 5, from 11 a.m. until supplies last.
Packages will include the following items:
- Toothbrush
- Toothpaste
- Mouthwash
- Socks
- Tissues
- Tampons
- Feminine napkins
- Deodorant
- Bottled Water
- Diapers
- Mini first aid kit
- Baby wipes
- Chap stick
- Small blanket
- Flash light with AA Batteries
- Gloves
- Hat
- Box of granola bars
- Cup of soup
- Wash Cloth

Volunteer at #GivingGoodsDay
Volunteers will help assemble care packages, pass out hot chocolate and coffee, assist with health screenings, and hold down the shed as we anticipate an influx of community members. To sign up as a volunteer, click here.
