At the Goodwill of Greater Detroit Skilled Trades Academy, we recognize the increasing demand for skilled trades workers in southeast Michigan and the crucial role they play in fueling economic mobility for individuals and families. Our comprehensive training program provides metro Detroiters with access to in-demand skilled trades, including welding, construction labor and electric vehicle supply equipment (EVSE).

  • 18 years of age or older
  • High school diploma or GED certificate
  • Sixth-grade math & reading level
  • Valid driver’s license
